Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
1. Collection and processing of personal data in the application process
As part of your use of our RWR card calculator and the application process, we collect personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, place of residence, information on education and professional experience). This data is processed exclusively for the purpose of assessing your suitability for the Red-White-Red Card and for potential placement with Austrian employers (recruitment). The legal basis for this is the initiation and fulfillment of a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
2. Transfer of data to third parties
Your application data will be treated confidentially and will only be passed on to verified partner companies in Austria (potential employers) if you actively click the "Send Results" button. Your data will not be transmitted to third parties for other purposes, in particular for advertising purposes.
3. Data storage and retention periods
Your data stored in the browser (via Local Storage), such as intermediate results of the calculator, remains locally on your device and is not automatically transmitted to our servers until you actively decide to do so. After successful transmission to us, we store your application data in accordance with the statutory retention periods of the Austrian Equal Treatment Act (GlBG) for at least 6 months. If you are included in our evidence, we store your data for a maximum of 2 years, unless you object.
4. Your rights
With regard to your data stored by us, you generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the responsible supervisory authority (in Austria, the Data Protection Authority).
